For the last couple of nights I have wrapped my feet in cling film with steroid cream and my face chest and neck have gone bright red and hot to touch has anyone else ever had this it’s horrible and takes hours to go down. I have PPPP Feet and hands and I have list both of my big toes nails it hurts a lot and also looks awful (Suzanna Clark - Facebook)

Cold showers to calm and clear the inflammation. Personally I would avoid steroids completely! From personal experience and a lot of reading on here steriods may be a quick fix (if at all) but cause huge flares after a while/ if you stop using it.

Stephanie Kristine : My ppp actually does better when I don’t put anything on it. It’s very hard to do but after a week or so, it feels better. Still haven’t gotten myself into remission yet... but I’m working on it. Good luck
Cortney Ryczek Hornsby : You may want to speak to a doctor about this. I am only in this group because my young daughter has psoriasis so I do not have any experience with the ointments or reactions. BUT I found out that I was allergic to penicillin and bactrim this way. My body turned red and hot to the touch like I had a sunburn. My mom is a nurse and I started complaining of difficulty breathing. She had to rush me to the er. Sounds like you may be having an allergic reaction.
